Meet the coaches behind BEST
BEST started in 2018, when Coach Alex graduated from Oklahoma City University. He had already been coaching for more than three years and had decided early that coaching would be his career.
Built by a player who stayed in the game
Alex came to Oklahoma City University from São Paulo, Brazil, and played four seasons for the Stars as a standout defender from 2014 to 2017. Training driven players became his focus the day he stopped playing. His goal is the one on our old homepage: help players take their game to the next level, whatever that level is for them.

Coach Lucas Ribeiro
Coach Lucas Ribeiro also graduated from Oklahoma City University, where he and Alex played together for two seasons.
The South American touch
Both coaches bring authentic Brazilian and South American technical roots to training. In practice that means high repetitions on the ball, poise and confidence in tight spaces, bilateral competency with both feet, and freedom to create.
