How we train
Good training isn’t random drills. At BEST, every player is rated, placed with players at their level, and coached in small numbers. Here’s how it works.

1. We rate every player
Before joining a group, each player is evaluated across our eight core criteria: focus, touch quality, execution speed, bilateral competency (both feet), timing, field awareness, coaching receptivity, and consistency. That rating places them into the group where they are pushed and supported.
2. Groups by level, six per coach
Each 90-minute block runs up to four coaches with up to six players each. That’s up to 24 players in the building, but never more than six in front of one coach.
3. Every session has a plan
Sessions are engineered with intention: first 5 minutes dedicated to coordination, footwork off the ball, and athletic posture; progressing to high-repetition technical mastery; advancing to game-speed pressure drills; and concluding with match-condition competition.
4. Coaches rotate
Players work with different coaches across groups. They hear the same idea explained more than one way, and coaches share what they see.
5. We re-check progress
Ratings update dynamically as players improve. When an athlete demonstrates consistent execution and decision-making speed at their tier, they advance to the next level.
What we believe
- Touches over talk: Maximum repetitions on the ball build technical confidence faster than classroom speeches.
- Bilateral competency: Dangerous players must be able to solve problems and strike cleanly with both feet.
- Confidence through competence: True match composure comes from executing under game-speed pressure.
Start with an assessment
The fastest way to see this in action is a Player Assessment.
