How to choose a soccer trainer in Oklahoma City

Look for a trainer who can show a real playing or coaching record, tells you prices up front, keeps groups small, and can explain how they’ll measure your player’s progress.

Updated September 26, 2026 · Coach review pending

Seven questions to ask

  1. What’s your background? Can you verify it?
  2. How long are sessions? 60 and 90 minutes are very different amounts of training.
  3. How many players per coach? Small numbers mean more touches and feedback.
  4. How do you group players? By age only, or by level?
  5. What does it cost? Is the price published?
  6. How will I know it’s working? Is there an assessment or a progress check?
  7. What’s the cancellation policy? Is it written down?

Red flags

  • No verifiable background
  • Prices only after a sales call
  • No plan for the session
  • One coach with a large group
